There was a lot they could have explored with Fuka if they dumped the tournament idea (one they didn't really have time to fully utilize anyways). Only in 3-4 episodes at most do we really get into her head at all. I'm not sure about the plan to start off with Fuka as the lead and then basically abandon her for half of the episodes. One that could have been better, but fell short. (incl.In the end it was an average series.
